This crochet market bag has been one of the hardest patterns to get to you ! Gremlins decided to move into my computer and they have been given their eviction notice ! Lets just hope they stay away and never visit again haha The Cross stitch Bag can be made in either a 4 weight or worsted weight (US)/Aran (UK)/ 8 ply (AUS) or a number 3 weight (US)/ DK (UK)/ 8 ply )AUS) yarn This bag is a easy+ pattern and if you want to make it a little easier you can substitute the cross stitches for plain double crochet :) I used Red Heart Super Saver Ombre in the Scuba and Red Heart Super Saver in the Light Grey and a 5mm/H hook If you would like to use a lighter weight, a number 3 weight (US)/ DK (UK)/ 8 ply )AUS) yarn will work with a 4mm/G hook

Looks great. I even have some of the RHSS Ombre in Scuba left over from a baby blanket. Thanks!

love it, I have made a few of your other market bags too, during the summer I usually make hats, so by fall I start donating them to different homeless shelters or vets. Can't wait to start this one.

I added this to my Ravelry queue but noticed that you don't have any links set up to the video or pattern.

I realize I need to learn some stitches in the pattern so going to start off small and learning by making your smaller other bag patterns first. Will get to this when I learn the crosstitch .

Hi Clare. I was reading through the instructions, and for Edge 1, there are no instructions for row 2, but we are supposed to repeat it for row 4. Did I miss something?
