Sew in your ends as you go - You will hear me say that in every crochet video tutorial I have made hahahahaha as you can see below I didn't listen to my own advice :) I was so excited to see the colours coming together that I didnt want to pause to sew in the blasted ends, no way ! So I made a deal with myself that I would do 2 days of making the grannies and then sew the ends in and I couldn't start another granny until the ends were all done ! It was really hard to be good tee hee ! But the feeling of accomplishment when I had sewn in all the ends was worth it ! I have sewn in all the ends...all 1062 of them ! Weirdly enough I actually enjoyed the sewing of the ends ..... I think it was the satisfaction of finishing each square ready for joining to be continued ......

I once crocheted a sampler afghan. Each square was a different pattern, 4-1/2" squares. I had to place nine squares across and 13 down. The three colors used were tangerine, heather green, chocolate brown. I didn't know how to attach them so I crocheted them together. Watching your tutorial taught me how to make flat seams. I guess I'll start making Granny squares for a change of pace. My current favorite pattern is single crochet using two 4-ply skeins held together and single crochet going through the back loops. I do them in many sizes (crib, twin, queen, king bed sizes). Thanks for your clear, complete, concise instructions.
