Red Heart Super Safer Medium worsted weight yarn / 10 ply
5oz 140 grams Heather Grey
Small amount of Shocking pink and Turqua
6.00 mm / J hook
Scissors
Yarn needle

120 cm / 44 inches long

ch – chain
dc – double crochet
inc – increase
​dec - decrease

Notes:
Multiple of 14 + 2 chains
​Each row is started and ended with an increase (2 dc into the same stitch)

1. Chain 30
dc into the 3rd ch
*1 dc into the next 4 ch
dc dec into the next 2 ch
dc dec into the next 2 ch
dc into the next 4 ch
dc inc into the next 2 ch*
​Repeat from * to * across ending with 1 dc in next 4 stitches, inc in last stitch, turn

2. Ch 3, dc into the same stitch as the ch 3
*1 dc into the next 4 stitches
dc dec into the next 2 stiches
dc dec into the next 2 stiches
1 dc into the next 4 stiches
dc inc into the next 2 stiches*
Repeat from * to * across ending with 1 dc in next 4 stitches, inc in last stitch, turn
​Repeat row 2 until desired length

For my cowl I did
31 heather grey
2 turqua
​1 heather grey
2 shocking pink
32 heather grey – I kept crocheting until I have used up the skein and also had enough to sew my seam 

​Leave about a 10 inch tail for sewing first and last row together
