1. Magic ring, ch 1 (does not count as a stitch) 8 sc in to the ring, join with a slip stich to the first sc, if you want to change colours, finish off.
2. Join new colour into any of the sc stitches. Ch 3 (counts as first dc) 6 dc into the same stitch as the ch 3, remove hook and put hook into the top of the ch 3 and place loop back onto hook, pull up a loop, pull tight, chain 2, *7 dc into the next stitch, remove hook and put into the first dc of the 7 you just completed, put yarn back on hook and pull up a loop, pull tight, chain 2 * repeat from * until you have 8 popcorn stiches, slip stitch to the top of the 1st popcorn stitch. Finish off

3. The popcorn stitches on this round will be worked into the space at the back of the popcorns stitches (see images on next page) and the ch 2 space from round 2 Join new yarn into the space at the back of the popcorn (see images) Chain 3, 6 dc into the same space as ch 3, remove hook and put hook into the top of the ch 3 and place loop back onto hook, pull up a loop, pull tight, ch 3 *7 dc into the next ch 2 space, remove hook and put into the first dc of the 7 you just completed, put yarn back on hook and pull up a loop, pull tight, ch 3, 7 dc into the back of the next popcorn stitch, remove hook and put into the first dc of the 7 you just completed, put yarn back on hook and pull up a loop, pull tight, chain 3* repeat from * to * around until you have 16 popcorns and join with a slip stitch into the top of the first popcorn stitch. Finish off.

4. Join new yarn into any chain 3 space. Or if not using new colour Slip stitch into the chain 3 space. Ch 3, 2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc into the same ch 3 space. 3 hdc into the next ch 3 space, 3 sc into the next ch 3 space, 3 hdc into the next ch 3 space, *3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc into the next ch 3 space, 3 hdc into the next ch 3 space, 3 sc into the next ch 3 space, 3 hdc into the next ch 3 space* repeat from * to * around, slip stich to the top of the ch 3 space
5. Slip stitch across to ch 2 space, Chain 3, 2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc into the same ch 2 space, 3 dc into each of the next 4 spaces in-between the groups of 3 stitches *3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc into the next ch 2 space, 3 dc into each of the next 4 spaces in-between the groups of 3 stitches * repeat from * to * around and slip stitch to the top of the ch 3. Finish off and sew in any loose ends
