Hello crocheters ! Thank you for stopping by my blog post, I hope you are having a fantastic week I am so happy the way this shawl has turned out and can't wait to see the colour combinations that you share via Instagram, FaceBook or Patreon You can find the video tutorial here or the written pattern here Happy crochet Clare xx I can hardly believe that I will be celebrating 300 THOUSAND YouTube subribers......this is me with my eyes open wide ----> O.O Its been over 25, 000 hours of work, a heap of stress, lots of tears, 300+ written patterns and video tutorials, 800 videos and one crazy ride ! Phew no wonder feel like I need a holiday (is it Christmas break yet?) I have so much fun and the the feedback I get back form you guys is so rewarding There are not enough thank you that I could type in one blog post that expresses how thankful I am that you support my videos There are so many friends that I have made along the way (some no longer with us) and there are so many people that have helped me out I would like to say thank Laura, The crochet Zombie, Cassiopia my dear friend who was there at the start and passed away last year, you were one of the first people I wanted to tell when I realized I was going to hit 300,00, the other person I wanted to tell is my Mum, but she also passed away last year. Amanda, Olgaa, Karen, Katie, Vanessa, Jessica and Tania - I think that just about covers everyone that has worked for me over the years. With these wonder helpers and you awesome viewers, well i wouldnt be typing this post So enough with the mushy stuff, onto the fun stuff I will be having a HUGE giveaway on my YouTube channel so stay tuned in the next few weeks for a giveaway video :) Thank you for being awesome ! Clare xx I was very excited to receive my parcel from Lucy at Stationery Geek ......Ok excited was a understatement ! I have been looking for a crochet diary for months and I just couldn't find one that I liked and one that was crochet related rather than just everyday needs. I discovered the awesome diary via a viewer on my Facebook page
Lucy very kindly sent me these products to review and I am so glad that she did. I have used my crochet project bible for my first project that I am making and it makes it so easy to help keep track of yarn, hook sizes, adjustments to the pattern, start dates and more
I went to a fiber retreat in March of this year and purchased some fingering weight (Aussie/NZ 4ply) from Morag from Vintage Purls yarn in the colour way "Made to Measure". I started a V neck cardigan from my video tutorial / written pattern, but I put it aside because I got busy with work. Its getting warmer here so I decided to pull it out of hibernation and finish it off (just need to purchase and attach buttons) Yarn and start of my cardigan below :)
I have always kept track (I use those words loosely haha) by writing it down on a scrap piece of paper and then putting that with my project. We all know how well that goes ! the paper gets ripped and most of the time I loose it
So I jotted down my notes I had into my crochet project bible. I am making another cardi and I just refered back to my notes ! I am already in love with my crochet project bible and I have only used it twice
For my second cardi I am going to use yarn that I purchased from Jo at www.merakistudionz.com I am going to use the grey and the blue. I had originally purchased it to make a knitted shawl, but I changed my mind I will be using the blue and the grey
Also included in the package was these awesome gift tags !! When you really want to say it to someone, but not sure on how to say it. The quality of the labels are great too, nice and sturdy I am so thankful to Lucy from Stationery Geek for sending my her products to review, I have ordered a knitting project bible and some crochet related stickers. I have also ordered some extra items but cant say what they are because they are Christmas gifts and not sure if that person is reading this blog post **insert cheesy grin** You can find more awesome products from Stationery Geek in the following places Facebook https://www.facebook.com/StationeryGeek/ Instagram https://www.instagram.com/stationery_geek/ Thank you for spending some time with me today, happy crochet Clare xx
