Allison's granny square

I am really excited to make this post today. I was asked by Red Heart yarns to join the other Red Heart Joy Creators to design a 12 inch granny square. I have had this design in my head for such a long time and thought it would be perfect to add to the blanket 

We were all given the Red Heart Chic Sheep yarn in 3 colors Suede, Linen and VIP (VIP is my favorite in that deep dark blue)
This was such a fun project getting to see all of our designs coming together to create a beautiful blanket as a wedding gift for Alison. Alison works at Red Heart Yarns and was delighted with her wedding shower gift
You can make one too with all of the squares from the blanket ! There are lots of squares to choose from, I hope you will join in. Get all the links on Marly’s blog.

I love this yarn and I used it to make my Jessica Shawl. It’s a Merino Wool in a #4 weight and is so soft and squishy.
