If you are a Aussie knitter or crocheter then you would of heard of Bendigo Wollen Mills. Did I just hear you say that you havnt heard of them ? Ooooh you are missing out ! They have delicious yarns from Alpaca wool to Cotton The Wollen Mill is located in a historic gold mining town called Bendigo, North of Melbourne. Australia's largest manufacturer of hand knitting and crochet yarn. The yarn is available in 200 gram balls - normal balls are 50 - 100 gm and the most exciting part is if you spend $50 AUD or more there is free postage with any order sent within Australia !! Yipppeee !! Bendigo Wollen Mills also ships international !!! YAY so even our long distance friends can sample their yarns. All of the fiber that is used in their product is Australian wool I have personally sampled their Alpaca and is sooooo good, soft and luxurious ansd only $16 a ball, that may sound expensive , but that is a 200 gram / 7 oz ball, So if that was a 50 gram ball its only $4 AUD each :) One day I plan to do a read trip down to the Wollen Mills, its a good 10 hour drive from my place, one day .......... better make sure I have a heap of room in the car :) If you ever get the chance to visit them yourself, they have a back room (see image that I borrowed from their Facebook page) The Backroom is full of their wonderful yarn to tempt you, try and resist, I dare you LOL You know you wont be able to :) Make sure you stop by their website and Facebook page and tell them that I sent you :) Website - http://www.bendigowoollenmills.com.au/ Facebook page - https://www.facebook.com/pages/Bendigo-Woollen-Mills

Hi! there I would just like to say I love you, you got me started again on crochet. I learnt from an early age but only knew one stitch (double crochet) and didn't even know what it was. I fell away from it and went on to knitting then I found you and I am hooked so to speak. When I do granny squares I used to hate sewing in all the ends when I was finished now as soon as I finish a square I sew in the ends and you have no idea how much better this and easier than when its sewn up, I hope you don't mind me commenting on this. Keep up the good work.
