Got tired of crocheting Afghans and Bedspread Spreads. My Son said, go on YouTube, they have how to's. I found you, you intimidated me at first, then I jumped in. Now I make Cover-ups, Hats, Scarves, and Bags/ purses. I always look forward to a new Tutorial. Until a new one comes out, I have done some of your earlier work. Thank you Clare, and my Son !!!!

I learned from my mother and had not picked up a hook in 30 years. My niece came home with a hook and yarn from art class saying she chose it as her winter break project....found you on you tube after looking for a simple way to teach her....have not stopped making items since then. Thank you!

Oh, Clare! I found you quite by accident on You Tube, of course. When I heard you say "crow-sha" I was "hooked"... My husband and I have been in love with you ever since. Whenever he hears me taking a lesson from one of your tutorials, he comes in to listen. Love you, girlfriend

My mother and great-grandmother attempted to teach me how to crochet when I was a child - being left-handed they tried to teach me by "mirroring" them - it didn't work!

I had seen your posts on different groups on facebook but it wasn't until you started asking for testers on the yarn stash buster group that I tried any of them. Now I love that if I can't work something out you usually have a tutorial for it. Thanks Clare

You are my "go to" resource for crochet. Knitting was NOT working for me too well and I had an "Aha" moment and remembered crochet. How to start? Over to YouTube and there you were, calm, easy going and with a lovely Australian accent to listen to. I totally enjoy your videos. Keep it up!

I wrecked my ankle last fall. It hasn't been healing very well and I was looking for something to do while elevating it. I found you the first time on YouTube and then again on Ravelry where I have you favourites so I know when you post new patterns. I am very left handed and hadn't crocheted before my injury. I watched a couple of left handed tutorials to get the basics and then started following along with you. I made both my kids the hidden seam beanies to wear when we were camping in early June (it's still pretty cool here in Canada at night then) and they love them! I have to admit I was pretty proud of myself for making them too! I started to make myself the mesh toque, but got sidetracked by a ripple blanket. I should get back to that hat though...

I am so thankful I have been following you on YouTube for a few years now. I appreciate you. My grandmother had taught me a little bit when I was younger and the more I crochet the more it comes back to memory. She passed in 1999 so I turned to YouTube for help and found you Clare. Your the best. I got books from the library also but you have taught me more. Thank You. I don't comment often but I feel like we are friends cause I watch you on YouTube all the time. I am a mom of 5kids and mom of five dogs lol. I dont have much time but I love to crochet so much I make time. I love all your patterns. Thanks again and Congrats on your new website I look forward to seeing it grow.

I found you on youtube!!! I'm retired, male and very happy to have found your tutorials....good stuff and very understandable. I would like to be able to send photos to you of two different granny square bottom bags that I have completed, one is cotton worsted weight and the other is 100% wool bulky weight. They are very cool! Thanks again for your effort to promote a very rewarding craft.

I am a self taught crocheter who enjoys trying out new patterns. Although I have been crocheting for many years, I am not at the Advanced stage at all. I found you via Google while searching for patterns that I could understand, follow and complete. I also crochet for charities. I was thrilled to recently find the Granny Square Stitch Baby Poncho pattern on your site. It is so easy and works up very quickly! I just finished my 2nd poncho in pink/white and plan to make several more to donate to a local organization accepting items for babies. So glad google led me to you! :)
