G'day and welcome ! The new tutorial and written pattern that we have today is the Me shawl. Make this pattern for yourself, be selfish and treat yourself to beautiful yarn. I have used yarn from Fiber Lily and it is so soft and squishy! This pattern is rated as a Easy+ and you have the choice of 2 different borders. The video tutorial has the pom pom edging but the shawl will also work with the Jessica shawl edging Jessica shawl edging youtu.be/ihaOu1AYzug The shawl will work in any thickness of yarn – I used DK(UK) / 8 ply (AUS) All supplies needed are listed in the pattern Hope you enjoy the pattern, have a fantastic week Clare xx

This is likely a dumb question..... once you block something, do you have to reblock after washing? Can you tell I'm a newbie at this?

Clare, You do BEAUTIFUL WORK and I LOVE watching you! I am sorry to say I do not get to watch as much as I'd like to because I live with chronic pain 24/7 and it pretty much has dictated my life for the past 23+ years. But I catch you when I can and how grateful I am to catch the tutorial of this AWESOME "Me Shawl!!" I can't decide which color I like best though, pretty pinkish tone your tutorial was on, or the teal color with the different edging!! Maybe both, eventually since you are so kind to share your written pattern with us!! So on behave of my fellow USA crocheter's, THANK-YOU, CLARE, VERY MUCH!!! Sincerely, Shelly Calvert (from the Great State of Tennessee, ya'll)

Love it! How could I make it wider? I like to have them long (wide) enough to wrap around my large body. How long should my staring chain be?

Hello, this shawl is made bigger by making more rows, the shawl will also get wider as it gets wider

My Daughter was in New Zealand the last September and brought back this yarn to me. I have looked and looked for a shawl pattern for this. I think this pattern might work with it. But the colors as you can see are much longer than yours. I really am lost when it come to Shawls. I have never made one and think the is easy enough I could do. I am confused on how much yarn you need to do the edging with the points. Please I could use guidence.
